Renowned Italian fashion house Roberto Cavalli concluded Dubai Fashion Week (DFW) with a spectacular finale at Dubai Design District (d3). The Spring/Summer 2025 edition showcased an exclusive edit of the Resort 2025 Collection, curated by Creative Director Fausto Puglisi. This event marked a significant moment, highlighting DFW's global platform and Cavalli's evolving design narrative.
The collection featured signature animal motifs such as zebra stripes and leopard spots on various garments. Western influences were evident with cowboy boots and hats, while the Roar Bag stood out with new crocodile and lizard-effect variations. Puglisi’s designs embodied daring elegance, paying homage to Cavalli’s colourful heritage.

The past week saw global and regional fashion industries gather at d3 for inspiring shows, capsule launches, events, dinners, industry talks, and networking opportunities. Enthusiasm was high among stakeholders, including top-tier media and buyers representing prestigious brands.
A significant highlight was DFW's partnership with the Italian Trade Association for the inaugural 'La Moda Italiana: Dubai Edition’. The third edition of Threads Talks by Instagram brought together industry leaders to discuss fashion's future. Topics included emerging retail formats and storytelling's power in attracting and empowering fashion brands in the MENA region.
Showcasing Diverse Collections
DFW featured over 30 brands from regions like Asia, Europe, and Central America. The first three days focused on haute couture collections, starting with Malaysian label Rizman Ruzaini announcing a new Dubai boutique. This was followed by three days of streetwear and ready-to-wear collections defining the season's fashion forecast.
Among key highlights was Michael Cinco debuting couture pieces inspired by ancient Roman fashion. Mrs Keepa presented its Spring/Summer collection innovatively through a film premiere at VOX Cinemas instead of a traditional runway show. The 'Need Therapy’ collection captivated hand-picked buyers and media.
Other standout moments included April & Alex’s SS25 collection 'Blossoming Seeds,’ celebrating women's growth and resilience. Emirati designer Heba Jasmi presented a high-fashion show, while Lebanese designer Dima Ayad paid tribute to femininity in all its forms.

DFW extended its reach across Dubai with over 40 exclusive dinners and launches for key stakeholders. Highlights included Bil Arabi displaying bespoke luxury jewellery at Chez Wam and Swarovski introducing its 'Created Diamonds' collection made from renewable energy at La Dame De Pic.
