Ritz-Carlton Doha's Culinary Team Triumphs At Qatar Chefs Challenge 2024
At the 7th QCP Corporate Roadshow held in April this year, The Ritz-Carlton, Doha's culinary team solidified its standing as a leading dining destination by securing a series of accolades amidst robust competition. This event, particularly through the Qatar Chefs Challenge 2024, offered a platform for culinary experts globally to demonstrate their prowess, focusing on critical areas such as food safety, waste minimization, and sustainability.
Among the victors, Chef Ala' Haytham al Qassis of The Ritz-Carlton, Doha distinguished himself by clinching the title of 'Best Pastry Chef of the Year 2024’ along with a gold medal for 'Modern Dessert Live Cooking and Best Chef in Category’. His creations, 'Afternoon Tea’ and 'Asian Plated Dessert’, were awarded silver and bronze medals respectively. Chef Paul Onipe also showcased his talent by winning silver for his 'Live Cooking Signature Lamb Dish’ and 'Live Cooking Black Box’.

Chef Moath Nasrallah Nasrallah took home gold in the 'Arabic Mazzeh and Best Chef in Category’. Chef Zefanya Vega Felesita excelled in the 'Pastry Showpiece’, while Chef Imelda Silvia earned a silver medal for her 'Live Cooking Special Fried Rice’. Chef Muhammad Jamalul was recognized with a bronze medal in the 'Individual Ice Carving’ competition.
