Everything About Qatar's Eid Al Fitr Festivities: Lusail Sky Festival And Family Entertainment Shows
During the festive period of Eid Al Fitr, Qatar is set to enchant visitors with an impressive range of artistic and musical festivities. Among the highlights is the Lusail Sky Festival, organised by Visit Qatar in partnership with Qatari Diar. This event, the largest of its kind in the region, promises a visual spectacle from April 3 to 5, between 4 pm and 10 pm at Al Saad Plaza in Lusail, offering an open-air experience with no cost for attendance.
The festival will dazzle audiences with international aerobatic performances, skydiving, and skywriting, alongside jets maneuvering at high speeds to create stunning formations in the sky. The air will be alive with colored smoke trails, laser displays, and aerial fireworks, complemented by an innovative drone show. Over 3,000 drones and 150 aircraft will light up the night sky, synchronised with music and light effects, to present an unforgettable visual feast.

Qatar's Eid Al Fitr celebrations extend beyond the sky, bringing a variety of entertainment on the ground. Visitors will have the chance to indulge in culinary delights from 14 different food trucks and carts. An entertainment theatre will also be set up, featuring live performances and activities suitable for families, ensuring there's something for everyone to enjoy.
Further enriching the holiday experience, several music and entertainment events will take place across the country. U Finio is set to host a concert on April 4, headlined by Abdulaziz Al-Dweihi and Hisham Mahrous. The Doha Golf Club will also feature performances by emerging artist Too Late and celebrated artist Nick Carter, showcasing a blend of new talents and renowned names.
Adding a magical touch to the festivities, "The Magic Box," a Disney-inspired musical theatre production, will run from April 3 to 12 at the Qatar National Convention Centre. This theatrical extravaganza adds another layer of excitement to the Eid celebrations, promising memorable moments for attendees.
