Qatar Airways Eyes The Ultra-Wealthy With New Gulfstream G700 Jets

Qatar Executive (QE), the private jet arm of Qatar Airways Group, has become the first worldwide exclusive commercial operator of the Gulfstream G700 aircraft. This marks a significant milestone, as the corporate jet subsidiary has added two new Gulfstream G700 aircraft to its fleet, emphasizing its commitment to offering charter customers an unparalleled level of luxury, performance, and technology in air travel.

The G700 sets a new standard for private air travel with its superior design, technology, and comfort. It features a spacious cabin with four living areas and a private stateroom with a fixed bed, designed to meet the exacting standards of Qatar Executive's clientele. The innovative lighting system, low cabin pressure altitude, and natural light enhancement through 20 windows elevate the passenger experience to new heights.

Passenger comfort is further prioritized with features such as a whisper-quiet cabin, 100 per cent fresh air replenishment every few minutes, and an advanced ionising system for cabin air, ensuring the highest possible air quality. These features collectively promise a more refreshed arrival for passengers than any other business jet currently available.

Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer, Chief Executive Officer of Qatar Airways Group, expressed enthusiasm in the introduction of the Gulfstream G700 to their fleet, which already boasts 15 Gulfstream G650ER aircraft. He highlighted the G700's status as the industry's highest-performance ultra-long-range business jet and anticipates guests will soon experience the advanced features of this new addition.

Mark Burns, President of Gulfstream, reflected on the near-decade-long partnership with Qatar Executive. Burns said that he looks forward to further expanding Qatar Executive's fleet with more G700 aircraft in the future.

The addition of the G700 to Qatar Executive's fleet underscores the airline's ongoing drive to deliver excellence and provide personalized service combined with leading operational safety. With two G700 aircraft already received and an additional eight expected soon, QE is preparing for the full commercial service of the new fleet in June. The company is already accepting advance expressions of interest from clients eager to charter the new aircraft.
