Pluma Circus Returns To Dubai: Everything You Need To Know

Ladies and gentlemen, witness the magic as Pluma Circus returns to Dubai this October! This is not your regular circus; this time, it's heart-stopping stunts, dazzling acrobatics, and a dash of jaw-dropping 3D projections that will leave you totally mesmerized. The big top will be pitched at Dubai Festival City Mall from Wednesday, 2nd October, and will run right through until Sunday, 20th October.

What to Expect Inside the Tent: Forget traditional clowns and jugglers; Pluma Circus will be changing things up with a line-up of out-of-this-world performances. Here's a sneak peek of what awaits inside the huge circus tent.

New Trapeze Show: Pluma Circus is pulling all stops to ensure this brand new trapeze act hypnotizes Dubai audiences. These daring aerialists, left dangling high above the crowd, will carry out feats of balance and co-ordination apparently running against the forces of gravity.

High-Speed Motorbike Stunts: Buckle up for the Ball Cage, an electrifying stunt where several motorbike riders whizz around inside a metal sphere at life-threateningly high speeds. Fasten your seats for a white-knuckle thrill as these daredevils pass each other inches away on loops and tight corners.

3D Projections: To add to the other dimensions of feel, the circus introduces avant-garde 3D projections, an already breathtaking performance with an immersive layer. The amazing visuals will take viewers to worlds out of this one and turn it into a performance that's more about the art than the acrobatics.

The best part is that Pluma Circus is designed as a family-friendly event. The show allows entry to children of all ages and further allows kids below two years to go in for free. When and Where?

The city-based circus will run from Wednesday, October 2, through to Sunday, October 20. Performances of the circus will run each Wednesday through Sunday of the week. Showtimes vary: midweek shows are going to be from 7pm to 9pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays, while during the weekend the performances will fall between 5pm and 7pm, and then 7:30pm to 9:30pm on Fridays and Saturdays. Sunday shows will run from 5pm to 7pm.

Tickets and Pricing

Tickets start at Dh95 and are now available online at Platinumlist. The show will be held at Festival Bay, the open-air waterfront area at Dubai Festival City Mall, and is destined to be a major destination for families who can spend the day at the circus and enjoy the mall's other attractions, too.

When the cooler months set in, Dubai's packed event calendar gets underway with the return of Pluma Circus. Many of the city's major draws reopen for the season in October, including Dubai Safari Park and Hatta Wadi Hub, among the perennially-popular Global Village-meaning outdoor fun won't be in short supply this season.
