The collective efforts of hotels, restaurants, and cafes underscore a widespread commitment to supporting research, treatment, and awareness. Through these initiatives, the community is not only raising funds but also fostering a deeper understanding of breast cancer, demonstrating solidarity with those affected by the disease.

Emirates NBD

Pink ATM

Emirates NBD, in partnership with Aster Hospitals & Clinics, will introduce a 'Pink ATM' at several branches. This unique ATM is not just a banking machine; it's a beacon of hope and empowerment, adorned with breast cancer awareness messages. By scanning a QR code on the Pink ATM, customers can access a wealth of information about breast cancer and even schedule a free screening. This initiative marries everyday banking tasks with a critical health education mission, aiming to inspire and support the community.

A vital aspect of this campaign is Aster Hospitals & Clinics' commitment to offering free breast cancer screenings across all its facilities. This effort is designed to make early detection more readily available to the public. The significance of early detection cannot be overstated, as it dramatically increases survival rates. While the survival rate for breast cancer in advanced stages is 27%, this number jumps to 98% with early detection. Through the Pink ATM initiative, Emirates NBD and Aster Hospitals & Clinics aspire to make a tangible difference in the fight against breast cancer by enhancing accessibility to crucial health screenings and information.

Arabian Automobiles Company

Arabian Automobiles Company (AAC), the exclusive distributor for Nissan, INFINITI, and Renault in Dubai, Sharjah, and the Northern Emirates, has launched the #DriveToZero campaign, a breast cancer awareness initiative aimed at encouraging the community to engage in proactive health measures.

The campaign includes eight specially curated activities designed to raise awareness, promote healthy living, and encourage early detection. In collaboration with medical partner Dubai London Hospital (DLH), AAC provides free clinical breast exams at key locations such as Nakheel Mall and Dubai Festival Mall, ensuring women have easy access to vital health checks.

On October 11, AAC encourages everyone to wear pink and share their photos on social media using the campaign link to raise awareness. Those who register for a clinical breast exam have a chance to win complimentary pick-up and drop-off services to their check-up.

Women over 40 are urged to schedule routine mammograms, and AAC offers a unique opportunity for those who have driven over 40,000 kilometers in their Arabian Automobiles vehicle to win a free mammogram by sharing a photo of their speedometer on social media.

The campaign also emphasizes the role of nutrition and fitness in cancer prevention. Dubai London Hospital’s Clinical Dietician, Dr. Dana Al Hamwi, will host a talk on gut health, while fitness partner Wellfit will offer open fitness classes. Participants can also join yoga, breathwork, and meditation sessions with Lululemon Middle East, all aimed at promoting mental and physical well-being.
