Oberoi Group's 90-Year Milestone: Introducing Scholarships to Nurture Next-Gen Hospitality Talent

To mark this milestone, the Group has introduced The Oberoi Group Scholarship Program. This initiative aims to honour the legacy of its founders and support the next generation of hospitality leaders.

For nine decades, The Oberoi Group has been a benchmark for luxury and service in the hospitality sector. Founded by Rai Bahadur Mohan Singh Oberoi and led by Mr. Prithvi Raj Singh Oberoi, the Group has gained international recognition and made a lasting impact on global hospitality.

Rai Bahadur Mohan Singh Oberoi, often regarded as the father of the Indian hotel industry, established The Oberoi Group with a focus on quality and personalised service. To honour their legacy, The Oberoi Group will offer two distinct scholarships:

- Rai Bahadur Mohan Singh Oberoi - 'Dare to Dream' Scholarship: This scholarship is open to hotel operations employees from hotels outside The Oberoi Group in India. It encourages individuals to dream big and pursue excellence in their careers.

- Mr. Prithvi Raj Singh Oberoi - 'Be the Best' Scholarship: Available for hotel operations employees from The Oberoi Group in India and overseas, this scholarship motivates employees to strive for the highest standards of excellence in their roles.

Scholarship Details

The scholarships provide an opportunity to pursue a Masters of Business Administration in Hospitality at Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL). Recipients will engage in a prestigious two-year MBA program that includes virtual learning and an immersive three-week on-site experience at EHL's campus in Lausanne, Switzerland. Additionally, they will stay at some of the world's finest hotels during a Best Practice Tour each year.
