Explore New Culinary Delights: UAE's Restaurant Openings In April
As the culinary landscape of the UAE continues to evolve, April sees a fresh array of dining establishments making their debut in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, catering to a diverse range of tastes from Italian and Japanese to French and Mexican cuisine. Amidst these openings, two popular Dubai restaurants, Publique and folly, have announced their closures at Souk Madinat, with the latter planning to relocate.
Here are all the new restaurants and cafes that are adorning the culinary landscape of Dubai starting April 2024.
Eataly, Abu Dhabi has launched its first venue in the capital at Reem Mall, offering a blend of Italian market and dining experiences. The establishment features a variety of Italian fare, including pastas, pizzas, and a selection of coffees and desserts. Operating hours are from 9am to midnight, Sunday to Thursday, and extend to 1am on Fridays and Saturdays.
Tre in Dubai introduces patrons to Tuscan schiacciata bread, with a range of flavours from savoury to sweet. Located on Al Wasl Road, the cafe is open daily from 7.30am to 10.30pm.
Kokoro Hand Roll Bar, Dubai, a Japanese restaurant originally from Houston, is in its soft opening phase at Alserkal Avenue. It offers a diverse menu that includes bluefin tuna with pickled cucumber and salmon with white ponzu, among other fresh fish options. The restaurant operates Wednesday to Sunday, noon to 10pm.
Le Bistro by Salmontini, Abu Dhabi, known for its French cuisine, is set to open its doors at Le Royal Meridien Abu Dhabi. The menu features a variety of dishes, including smoked salmon eggs Benedict and lobster rolls. The opening is scheduled for this month.
Three Cuts, Dubai, a new steakhouse at Nakheel Mall, specializes in three cuts of meat: sirloin, tenderloin, and rib-eye. The restaurant, created by Joe and Jason Bassili, offers a selection of steaks cooked over an oak wood fire. It also features a raw bar and a speakeasy bar. Opening details are to be announced.
Lila Molino, a Mexican concept by the team behind Lila Taqueria, is set to open in Alserkal Avenue. The restaurant will serve traditional Mexican dishes such as tortillas and tostadas, with heirloom corn sourced directly from Mexico. A range of freshly ground coffee will also be available.
The addition of these diverse dining options to the UAE's food scene reflects the region's growing reputation as a culinary hub. While the closures of Publique and folly mark the end of an era for their current locations, the opening of new establishments promises exciting dining experiences for residents and visitors alike.
