Nahyan Bin Mubarak Commends Artistic Excellence At Dubai Musical Event
The grand finale of Rajadhiraaj – Love. Life. Leela, a musical depicting Shri Krishna's life, was attended by His Highness Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence. Held at Dubai Opera on March 16, the event drew a large audience eager to witness this unique blend of Indian cultural heritage and modern theatrical techniques.
Sheikh Nahyan praised the production's creativity and excellence, acknowledging everyone involved in its success. He stated, "It is a great pleasure to be here with you this evening. Over the past few nights, the people of Dubai and the United Arab Emirates have had the opportunity to enjoy this exceptional performance, the world’s first and largest musical on Shri Krishna.

Sheikh Nahyan highlighted art's role as a universal language that bridges cultures. Through your artistic excellence, creativity, and dedication, you strengthen mutual understanding between our cultures in entertaining, enlightening, and inspiring ways. The musical featured over 180 artists, 60 dancers, 1,800 costumes, and 20 original songs. This combination created an unforgettable experience praised by audiences and critics for its performances, stage direction, design, and choreography.
Sheikh Nahyan emphasised UAE's dedication to values like love and harmony through such events. He noted that President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan promotes human rights and dignity globally while fostering peace.
He also mentioned Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum's vision for unity benefiting all residents across cities or rural areas. This aligns with UAE's aspirations for truthfulness and compassion.
The show received overwhelming responses during its six-night run at Dubai Opera. It combined spiritual depth with professional theatre elements like live music and choreography.
