Millennium Hotels Names Wahdan Al Kadi As CEO For Saudi Arabia, Aiming At Vision 2030 Goals

Millennium Hotels & Resorts Middle East and Africa has appointed Wahdan Al Kadi as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for its operations in Saudi Arabia. Al Kadi transitions into this role following a commendable four-year period as Chief Business Officer for the Saudi Arabia Tourist Development Fund (TDF), a tenure marked by significant achievements aligned with the national Vision 2030.

Under the guidance of Minister of Tourism Ahmed Al Khatib, Al Kadi contributed extensively to the tourism and development goals of Vision 2030, bringing his extensive experience to the forefront of his new position. His career encapsulates over two decades of distinguished service in various sectors including banking, financial institutions, investment, and telecommunications. Notably, his tenure includes pivotal roles at Samba, Hoshanco holding, and Tharawat Holding Co., and as an investment adviser at the Ministry of Tourism from November 2019 to June 2020.

Al Kadi's academic credentials are equally impressive, holding a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering and an Executive MBA from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, supplemented with certifications from globally recognized institutions such as London Business School, INSEAD, and the International Institute for Management Development (IMD). His board memberships span prestigious organizations including the UBS Group, Chubb, the Saudi Tennis Federation (STF), and Assir Municipality, underscoring his influence and expertise within the KSA region.

The announcement coincides with Millennium Hotels & Resorts MEA's recent expansion in KSA, marking the opening of Millennium Al Masar in Jeddah, the group's 9th hotel in the kingdom. This growth signifies the brand's commitment to contributing to the region's development as a leading destination for tourism and business.
