Dubai boasts a lavish culinary landscape, and the city's extensive offering of restaurants and cafes is proof enough. Now, it has been officially recognised that some of the best restaurants in the world are located in the emirate.
The MENA’s 50 Best Restaurants, spanning 14 cities in the region, has unveiled its third edition, and Dubai dominates the list.
The Middle East & North Africa's 50 Best Restaurants encompasses six voting regions, covering Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Israel, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Tunisia, UAE, and Yemen.
Dubai Takes the Lead
Dubai dominates the list with Orfali Bros Bistro claiming the number one spot for the second consecutive year. Since its opening in 2021, Orfali Bros Bistro has garnered a dedicated fan base among both local patrons and global visitors, including renowned figures like Ed Sheeran. Founded by three brothers, the restaurant celebrates its Syrian heritage through its concept and cuisine. Furthermore, the restaurant secured the 46th spot on The World's 50 Best Restaurants 2023 list, solidifying its position as a culinary gem.
Additionally, Dubai's Trèsind Studio snagged the second spot, while the fine-dining seafood restaurant Ossiano was ranked third. The 12-seater Japanese restaurant Moonrise stood fourth, and 3 Fils took the sixth position, respectively.

In Saudi Arabia, Marble holds the top position at No. 22, with Lunch Room in Riyadh following closely at No. 40, and Kuuru in Jeddah securing the 50th spot on the list of the region's best restaurants. Bahrain's Fusions By Tala leads the rankings at No. 9, with Cut by Wolfgang Puck following closely at No. 49. Jordan boasts several top-ranking restaurants, with Fakhreldin securing the highest position at No. 7, followed by Shams El Balad at No. 18, Sufra in Amman at No. 29, Alee at No. 36, and 13C Bar in the Back at No. 44. Lebanon's Em Sherif takes the top spot at number eight, while in Tunisia, Cult Bistro ranks highest at No. 47.
Meanwhile, La Grande Table Marocaine claims the highest rank in Morocco at No. 27. Egypt's top-ranked restaurants include Khufu's at number five, followed by Kazoku at No. 12, Zooba at No. 24, Sachi Cairo at No. 33, and Izakaya at No. 38. Alba by Enrico Crippa stands as Qatar's sole entry on the list, ranking at No. 46.
