Marvels Of Saudi Orchestra Completes Successful Sixth Tour In Riyadh With Diverse Performances
The Marvels of Saudi Orchestra recently concluded its sixth tour at the King Fahd Cultural Center in Riyadh. This event, held under the patronage of Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, featured 95 performers from the Saudi National Orchestra and Choir. Seven performing arts groups also participated, attracting a diverse audience including dignitaries, artists, and media representatives.
Paul Pacifico, CEO of the Music Commission, expressed his admiration for the orchestra's debut performance in Saudi Arabia. He highlighted its success following international tours that celebrated Saudi musical heritage and fostered cultural connections worldwide. Pacifico credited the Minister of Culture for supporting these achievements.

The concert presented a rich array of performances inspired by traditional Saudi music. The repertoire included folk music and dances such as Samri, Yanbaawi, and Lewa. This diverse showcase aimed to share Saudi cultural identity with a broad audience while celebrating the nation's musical history.
The Marvels of Saudi Orchestra embarked on an extensive global tour. It began in Paris and continued through Mexico, New York, London, before concluding in Tokyo in November 2024. These performances underscored the Music Commission's commitment to promoting Saudi music internationally.
