Mandarin Oriental Al Faisaliah Unveils Special Experiences For Saudi National Day Celebrations
Mandarin Oriental Al Faisaliah is gearing up for a memorable September, spotlighting an exclusive dining event for Saudi National Day, led by Saudi Chef Nawal AlKhalawi.
The hotel is also set to reveal newly revamped amenities in its South Wing and introduce a captivating handmade rug exhibition by Saudi designer Raw by Rugaia Kareem. These initiatives underscore the hotel's dedication to blending cultural homage with modern luxury, providing guests with unparalleled experiences.

In a tribute to the Kingdom's 95th National Day, La Brasserie is preparing a culinary event from the 7th to the 30th of September. The event, partly sponsored by the Cultural Development Fund of Saudi Arabia, showcases Chef Nawal AlKhalawi's innovative take on traditional Saudi dishes.
The menu, available at dinner, combines local heritage with a modern twist in a buffet setting. Prices for this gourmet experience are set at SAR 295.
Chef Nawal AlKhalawi, a trailblazer in Saudi's culinary scene, is celebrated for her commitment to "green gastronomy." She prioritises local and seasonal produce to craft her unique cuisine. The menu she has curated includes delicacies such as Pumpkin Manto, Deconstructed Margoug with Lamb Mouzat, and Khaleeja Crumble with hibiscus bloom, highlighting her innovative approach to traditional flavors.
To mark Saudi National Day with grandeur, special brunch and dinner events are scheduled for the 23rd of September. The brunch, running from 1pm to 5pm, is priced at SAR 395. The dinner, from 7pm to 11pm, mirrors the pricing of the ongoing dinner menu at SAR 295. These events promise an immersive dining experience, giving guests a taste of Saudi Arabia's rich culinary heritage through Chef AlKhalawi's inspired creations.
Art and Craftsmanship on Display
In celebration of Saudi National Day, the hotel is delighted to feature the Raw by Rugaia Kareem handmade rug collection, starting the 18th of September. This showcase in the South Wing Lobby presents thirteen carpet artworks, each embodying the intersection of art and tradition with vibrant colors and patterns. These unique pieces, available for purchase, offer guests a chance to own a part of Saudi heritage.
Refurbished South Wing
The reopening of the South Wing introduces several new facilities, including the Awan Lounge café. This concept cafe focuses on healthy eating with a menu that lists calories for each item, catering to health-conscious guests. The redesigned lobby and tennis court are now open, offering refreshed spaces for leisure and sport. Rooms and suites in this wing are also available for booking, promising a revitalized stay experience.
The hotel's commitment to wellness is further exemplified by the Ladies Spa's new Relax and Recharge package. Priced at SAR 1,200, this package combines a full-body exfoliation, an aromatherapy massage, and a bespoke facial, designed to rejuvenate both the body and mind.
