Louis Vuitton Unveils 'LV The Place Bangkok' With Store, Café, Restaurant, And Exhibition

Louis Vuitton has unveiled its latest venture in Bangkok, 'LV The Place Bangkok,' a new destination concept that offers visitors an immersive experience through an exhibition, café, store, and restaurant. The space, located at Gaysorn Amarin, showcases the breadth of imagination and creation within the Louis Vuitton universe. The two-floor space at LV The Place Bangkok combines retail, dining, and culture, creating a dream-like atmosphere.

The exterior of the building features giant glowing diamond shapes, while the interior integrates different elements to provide visitors with a unique experience.One of the main attractions on the ground level is the Visionary Journeys exhibition, which explores the heritage of Louis Vuitton in a new and exciting way. Developed in collaboration with architectural firm OMA, the exhibition takes visitors on a journey through thematic rooms that highlight the pillars of savoir-faire, innovation, travel, and creation. From a Trunkscape tunnel made up of 96 trunk modules to a room dedicated to iconic bags, the exhibition showcases the craftsmanship and style that define Louis Vuitton.

Le Café Louis Vuitton, also located on the ground floor, offers visitors a lush ambiance and a selection of tempting treats. The café features a blend of botanical design elements and references to the iconic Objets Nomades. Visitors can indulge in a variety of cakes, tarts, parfaits, and ice cream sandwiches, each decorated with a signature Louis Vuitton flourish. The café's interior reflects the climate of Bangkok, using natural materials such as wood, raffia, and plants.

On the upper level, the store at LV The Place Bangkok provides an immersive shopping experience. The store features a contemporary layout, vintage furniture arrangements, and colorful artworks. It showcases the men's and women's product universes, curated to captivate discerning clients seeking exceptional design. The store offers exclusive products, including the Alma Nano Rainbow, a women's Cruise 2024 T-shirt, and a men's LV Trainer Upcycling sneaker. Personalization services, such as hot stamping, are also available.

Indian chef Gaggan Anand has curated a unique dining experience at 'Gaggan at Louis Vuitton,' the Maison's first restaurant in South Asia, also located on the upper level. The restaurant features a pyramid of trunks at the entrance, followed by a room with undulating walls and distinctive decor. Diners can enjoy a seasonal menu exclusive to Louis Vuitton, based on the 5 "S" - Sweet, Sour, Salty, Spicy, and Surprise. From Thai-inspired dressed lobster to mushroom recipes presented in a Damier pattern, each dish is a work of art. For a more intimate experience, a private dining room offers a view of the kitchen.
