Enjoy Turtle-Inspired Stay At The Luxurious Jumeirah Al Naseem In Dubai
In a unique blend of luxury hospitality and wildlife conservation, Jumeirah Al Naseem introduces an exclusive stay experience, marking 20 years of commitment to ocean conservation through the Dubai Turtle Rehabilitation Project (DTRP). This distinctive offering not only aims to provide guests with a memorable stay but also actively contributes to the conservation of sea turtles.
The experience is meticulously crafted to immerse guests in the world of turtle conservation, starting with turtle-inspired welcome amenities that set the tone for what's to come. A significant feature of this package is the behind-the-scenes tours, including a visit to the Aquarium at Jumeirah Burj Al Arab, where the journey of rescued turtles towards recovery begins. The journey continues at the Turtle Rehabilitation Sanctuary at Jumeirah Al Naseem, featuring five outdoor lagoons where turtles regain their strength before returning to the wild, with an opportunity for guests to participate in turtle feeding.

A highlight of the stay is the ocean-themed four-hands afternoon tea at Al Mandhar Lounge, a collaborative creation between Executive Pastry Chef Julien Jacob and his mentor, Philippe Rigollot. This culinary delight focuses on sustainably sourced ingredients and includes a selection of signature savouries, sweets, and creations inspired by childhood candies, all served on a stand that beautifully incorporates repurposed coral and marble.
Guests will also enjoy a range of additional benefits, including daily breakfast, unlimited access to Wild Wadi Waterpark, complimentary non-motorised water sports, access to the resort's wellness facilities, and activities for junior guests at KiDS at Jumeirah Al Naseem. A special feature allows guests to track the journeys of released turtles, further connecting them with the conservation efforts.
Barbara Lang-Lenton, Director of Aquarium at Jumeirah Burj Al Arab, emphasised the importance of raising awareness and support for ocean conservation, highlighting the critical role of the DTRP in protecting endangered sea turtles. The initiative, she noted, not only offers guests an unforgettable experience but also plays a crucial part in the rehabilitation and release of these marine creatures back into their natural habitats.

The DTRP, a pioneering project in the region dedicated to the conservation of marine turtles, is a collaboration involving Dubai's Wildlife Protection Office, support from Dubai's Royal Family veterinary facilities, and laboratory work by the Central Veterinary Research Laboratory (CVRL). Since its inception in 2004, the project has successfully rehabilitated and released over 2,150 turtles.
