IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced the appointment of Francesco Pantalone as General Manager at the forthcoming InterContinental The Red Sea Resort. With an impressive career spanning over three decades across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, Pantalone brings to the table a robust track record in luxury and leisure hospitality. His appointment underscores IHG's commitment to delivering unparalleled service and innovative guest experiences at this much-anticipated luxury destination.

Pantalone's career is distinguished by his resilience, drive, and goal-oriented approach, especially notable during his tenure in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Here, he successfully led international high-end hotel operations, setting new benchmarks for guest experiences. As he takes the helm at InterContinental The Red Sea Resort, Pantalone will oversee the luxury resort's operations, including its architecturally striking hotel, the exclusive Club InterContinental, and an array of distinctive dining and lifestyle offerings.

With a passion for the food and beverage sector that began in Dubai in 1998, Pantalone has held leadership positions with luxury hospitality giants such as The Ritz Carlton and Shangri-La, as well as with luxury boutique hotels in Europe and China. His extensive experience positions him well to lead the team at InterContinental The Red Sea Resort.
