HOG Dubai Chapter Organises Ride For A Cause To Promote Breast Cancer Awareness

In a remarkable display of solidarity and awareness, over 400 bikers took to the streets of Dubai, painting the city pink in support of breast cancer awareness.

This significant event, dubbed the "Ride for a Cause – Breast Cancer Awareness Ride," saw participants from a wide array of motorcycle clubs, including the Harley Owners Group (HOG) Dubai Chapter, HOG Abu Dhabi, and Hawks Dubai, among others.

The initiative aimed to shine a light on the importance of early breast cancer detection and the necessity of regular self-examination.

The bikers embarked on their meaningful journey from the Harley-Davidson showroom in Dubai, navigating through the city's scenic routes.

Their ride included a brief halt at Last Exit before culminating in a grand finale at Taj Exotica, The Palm. Here, participants were treated to breakfast and participated in awareness sessions, further underscoring the event's critical message.

A key moment of the event was the sharing of personal stories by breast cancer survivors. Their tales of resilience were a source of inspiration for all present.

Additionally, Dr. Wissam from American Hospital Dubai contributed to the session by demonstrating essential self-check techniques, highlighting the ease and importance of early detection in combating breast cancer.

The event garnered substantial support from a plethora of sponsors, including Pitstop Auto, Hiranandani Communities, Yotta, and USH, with additional backing from Jashanmal, Taj Exotica The Palm, Himatrix Group, among others.

This collaboration between various organizations underlined the community's dedication to the cause.

One of the highlights of the day was the Best Decorated Bike Contest, sponsored by Pitstop Auto and Jashanmal. This contest celebrated the creativity and spirit of the biking community, further adding to the day's festive atmosphere.

Anand Rodrigues, the Director of HOG Dubai Chapter, shared his pride and gratitude towards everyone involved in the event. "As the Director of Harley-Davidson Dubai Chapter, I'm immensely proud of the discipline, compassion, and teamwork shown by the HOG Dubai team & the supporting clubs. The event reflected what the UAE stands for — unity in diversity, with volunteers and leaders of many nationalities coming together seamlessly.
