Himitsu At Alba Unveils Beverage Series Celebrating Japanese Craftsmanship And Culture

In collaboration with Suntory, Himitsu, a hidden speakeasy located within Alba Restaurant at Dubai Opera Plaza, has introduced the Himitsu Whisky Series. This series celebrates the art of Japanese beverage through a variety of carefully selected Suntory beverages, offering patrons an immersive experience into the world of bespoke cocktails and tastings paired with exquisite food.

The Himitsu Whisky Series promises to engage guests with its diverse offerings, including "Your whisky, your way," which allows visitors to savour Suntory's premium beverages in their purest forms, ensuring a full appreciation of their rich flavours.

As part of the series, patrons can explore the beverage in new dimensions with four expertly crafted cocktails. These include the Himitsu no Kagi, the Circle of Classics, the Himitsu no Shikumi, and the Serve of Stillness, each offering a distinct taste and experience that highlights the elegance of the beverage.

Furthermore, the series presents three tasting floats, namely "Lanterns of Kyoto," "Shadows in Red," and "A Night's Three Paths." These floats, priced between AED 120 and AED 155, pair Suntory's finest beverages with artisan handrolls, maki rolls, nigiri, sashimi, and dessert, providing guests with a comprehensive journey through Japanese whisky craftsmanship.

Under the guidance of Dikshant Tanwar, bar manager at Himitsu, known for his innovative approach and influence in the cocktail scene, Himitsu has become a hub for unique experiences. Tanwar's leadership has steered the venue towards hosting global guest shifts, secret DJ nights, and evolving cocktail programmes, setting a high standard for hospitality and creativity.

Tanwar expressed his enthusiasm for the series, stating, "With the Himitsu Whisky Series, we wanted to create an immersion into Japanese craftsmanship. Each serve is designed to reveal the beverage's hidden layers and its heritage through classic pours, refined cocktails, or the beauty of a harmoniously paired dish."
