Hilton Unveils Signia By Hilton Brand To Africa With Cairo Skywalk Development

Hilton has unveiled a notable partnership with Skywalk Developments, marking the introduction of the Signia brand to Egypt and Africa through two new premium properties: Signia by Hilton Cairo Skywalk and Signia by Hilton Residences Cairo Skywalk.

This collaboration signals a significant expansion for Hilton's luxury offerings in Egypt, promising to deliver a blend of sophisticated accommodations, custom-tailored services, and expansive facilities for meetings and events that cater to both guests and residents.

The forthcoming Signia by Hilton Cairo Skywalk is set to feature 200 tastefully appointed guest rooms and suites, alongside a variety of dining options that include a specialty restaurant, an all-day dining venue, and bars at both the lobby and poolside.

The establishment will also boast comprehensive leisure facilities, such as a state-of-the-art fitness center, spa, and an outdoor swimming area. Guests opting for Club Signia accommodations will receive an enhanced experience, which includes access to the exclusive Club Signia lounge, personalized concierge services, and superior in-room amenities, mirroring the exclusivity of private membership clubs.

In alignment with Signia by Hilton's commitment to offering premier meeting experiences, the Cairo hotel will present nearly 5,000 square meters of event space. This includes a cutting-edge ballroom, versatile multifunction rooms, and an outdoor lawn area, positioning it as a top venue for city events and gatherings.

The residences, Signia by Hilton Residences Cairo Skywalk, promise to redefine urban living with 200 contemporary one and two-bedroom apartments. These units will offer residents not only access to the hotel's dining facilities but also to a suite of exclusive amenities. These amenities encompass a private lounge, fitness centre, swimming pool, valet service, and a dedicated concierge, ensuring a cosmopolitan lifestyle at the heart of West Cairo.

Strategically situated within West Cairo's latest mixed-use destination, both the hotel and branded residences will be easily accessible from various historical and cultural points of interest in Cairo and Giza. Carlos Khneisser, Hilton's Vice President of Development in the Middle East & Africa, expressed enthusiasm about bringing the Signia brand to a distinguished new location in West Cairo. He highlighted the plan to increase Hilton's presence in Egypt to over 40 properties in the near future, underscoring the partnership with Skywalk Developments as a testament to Hilton's dedication to offering unparalleled hospitality and residential experiences in the area.

Khaled Rasekh, Chairman of Skywalk Developments, pointed out Cairo's allure as a historic and cultural centre, coupled with its emerging role as a conference and event hub, as key drivers of both international and domestic tourism. Rasekh emphasised the development's aim to offer an exceptional blend of entertainment, hospitality, and retail within a vibrant community setting.

This latest expansion not only cements Hilton's leading position in the region but also follows the brand's successful growth across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, exemplified by the opening of Signia by Hilton in Amman, Jordan.

With over 25 hotels in the pipeline for Egypt, Hilton anticipates creating more than 5,000 new jobs, further demonstrating its commitment to supporting local communities.
