Dubai Fashion Week's Day 2 is officially underway to a dazzling concoction of style and pizzazz. His Excellency Lorenzo Fanara, Ambassador of Italy to the UAE, attended the inaugural 'La Moda Italiana: Dubai Edition’. This event celebrated Italian fashion excellence and highlighted the strong cultural and economic ties between Italy and the UAE. Designs from 25 prestigious Italian brands were showcased.
The second day of Dubai Fashion Week (DFW) featured a diverse lineup of international talent. Spanish brand Adolfo Domínguez unveiled its Autumn-Winter 2024 IKIGAI collection, blending tradition with contemporary style and sustainability. Ihab Jiryis followed with his Spring/Summer 2025 collection, celebrating femininity, growth, and empowerment.

Adolfo Domínguez's Autumn-Winter 2024 IKIGAI collection was inspired by the Japanese concept of finding purpose in life. Crafted at the Ágora Creative Laboratory, it blends tradition with contemporary styles. The collection features prints, crumpled fabrics, ruffles, and asymmetrical cuts in both neutral and vibrant tones. Focused on sustainability and timeless fashion, the brand's minimalist designs embody its commitment to creating enduring garments.
Executive President Adriana Domínguez attended the exclusive exhibition. She underscored the brand's dedication to responsible consumption and sustainable fashion practices.
Ihab Jiryis Celebrates Femininity

Acclaimed designer Ihab Jiryis presented his latest Spring/Summer 2025 collection at DFW. Inspired by the transformation of the monarch butterfly, this collection explores themes of femininity, growth, and empowerment. It celebrates the beauty of transformation and identity through a blend of art, innovation, and elegance.
The collection reflects Jiryis's commitment to redefining luxury and solidifying his status as a leading name in couture.
Victor Weinsanto's Bold Debut

DFW member Victor Weinsanto debuted his "Lady de Weinsanto" collection at DFW. Presented by the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode, this marked Weinsanto's eighth collection. It celebrated resilient femininity with bold black tones accented by vibrant colours like acid green and fiery fuchsia.
The show featured oversized silhouettes and incorporated signature corsetry techniques with innovative materials such as Sophie Halette's lace. A striking XXL strapless bag made from dead stock leather was also introduced.
ITRH's Theatrical Debut

Indian design label ITRH made its grand debut at DFW with 'Natak’. This new collection drew inspiration from Indian theatre, blending bold theatrical design with subtle romantic undertones. Traditional Indian silhouettes like choli, kaftan, sari, and lehenga were reimagined with opulent details articulated through dramatic volume.
The season’s collection used a softer colour palette with intricate embroidery, bold stones, and crystals to celebrate contrasts while paying homage to Indian theatre glamour.
Swarovski Unveils 'Created Diamonds'
Swarovski unveiled its 'Created Diamonds' collection for the first time in the region during an exclusive event at La Dame De Pic. The collection features exquisitely cut laboratory-grown diamonds made using 100% renewable energy and recycled gold and silver. This represents Swarovski’s commitment to high-quality materials.
The debut took place over an intimate dinner prepared by Michelin-starred Chef Anne-Sophie Pic at One&Only One Za'abeel.
'Phantom of the Opera' Showcase
Designers & Us captivated attendees with a 'Phantom of the Opera’ themed showcase at DFW. The collection merged 1881 opulence with contemporary fashion trends inspired by diverse women who attended grand operas in that era. It echoed elegant fashions worn by noble princesses, high society ladies, modest attendees, and actresses.
The show highlighted corsets, A-line dresses, and mermaid gowns distinguished by attention to detail. Founder Tarek Derke emphasised their commitment to providing unique fashion experiences while blending historical elegance with modern innovation.

Organised by ITA in collaboration with DFW, it showcased clothing, footwear, leather goods, and eyewear from 25 prestigious Italian brands.
