Hatta Resorts Unveils Eco-Tourism And Adventure At Arabian Travel Market
Hatta Resorts and its Wadi Hub are making a significant appearance at this year's Arabian Travel Market (ATM), currently underway at the Dubai World Trade Centre and set to conclude on 9 May. This event marks an essential platform for showcasing the unique blend of glamping and adventure activities that Hatta, nestled within the Hajar Mountains, offers to those looking for an escape city life.
As the largest reserve in Dubai, Hatta presents a sustainable destination that caters to both relaxation seekers and adventure enthusiasts alike. With an impressive visitor count of over 351,000 from September 2023 to April 2024, the region has seen a substantial 40.4% increase in footfall compared to the previous season. The Hatta stand at the ATM, part of the Department of Economy and Tourism pavilion, promises an immersive experience for attendees through various visual and sensory demonstrations that highlight what the resort has to offer.

The development in Hatta aligns with the broader objectives of the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan, including the highly anticipated all-season Hatta Beach Project and innovative sustainable transportation systems like the mountain tram. These initiatives are expected to further boost visitor numbers to Hatta Resorts and its Wadi Hub. Additionally, the region is becoming a hub for local agriculture, with projects like the Hatta Honey Bee Discovery Centre and the upcoming Hatta Strawberry Farm.
Roudi Soubra, Vice President – Asset Management at Dubai Holding Hospitality Assets, expressed that Hatta Resorts' participation at the ATM serves as an ideal opportunity to promote Dubai's eco-tourism sector. He emphasized the resort's offerings such as glamping accommodations, outdoor adventure activities at the Wadi Hub, and the Hatta Sign, which recently achieved a Guinness World Records™ title. Soubra also highlighted the focus on cultural experiences, local agriculture projects, and other forthcoming attractions in the region.
"At the show, we are highlighting the sustainable developments set to enhance Hatta's reputation as a top-tier travel destination, aligning with the Dubai 2040 Urban Plan, and the Hatta Master Development Plan," Soubra added.
With sustainability, innovation, and a commitment to preserving its natural beauty and cultural heritage at the forefront, Hatta's future plans promise a wealth of diverse experiences and attractions for visitors and travel professionals when the new season begins in October 2024.
A new initiative encourages visitors to download the Tickit app, link their card, and use it for bookings to earn 3% instant points towards a stay at Hatta Resorts.
