Global Village Brings Unique Ramadan Celebrations To The UAE
As the Holy Month of Ramadan approaches, Global Village, a premier multicultural destination in the UAE and the broader region for culture, shopping and entertainment, is set to open its doors daily from 6:00PM until 2:00AM. The venue promises an array of wonderful experiences, aiming to be the go-to destination for families looking to immerse themselves in the spirit of Ramadan.
Global Village is inviting guests to break their fast with an extensive range of Iftar and Suhoor meals. With a wide selection of cuisines available, the destination is poised to cater to the diverse tastes of its visitors, ensuring an ideal Ramadan evening out for families and friends alike.
In addition to culinary delights, visitors can explore the newly established Ramadan Wonders Souk. This market, reminiscent of a traditional Emirati bazaar, is located at the park's heart. It offers a myriad of unique trinkets and samples from the various pavilions, presenting a global shopping experience during the holy month.
Engagement and Entertainment
Global Village also introduces the Step Challenge, encouraging guests to stay active while enjoying the park's attractions. By using Global Village's mobile app and achieving a goal of 10,000 steps in one visit, participants enter a weekly draw. Prizes include Samsung Galaxy mobile phones and smartwatches from Apple and Samsung, with winners announced every Friday of Ramadan.
The entertainment lineup is equally impressive, featuring daily performances by the Arabian Orchestra on the Main Stage. This ensemble of 30 artists will provide visitors with soul-stirring melodies. Additionally, live shows such as a dual harps performance, a violinist, and a Tannoura show will alternate locations between the Main Stage and the Wonder Stage in Mini World.
Highlighting every week, musical fireworks will illuminate the sky on Fridays and Saturdays at 9:00PM. The Dragon Lake will present a Ramadan-themed spectacle with an exclusive laser and fire show. Another cherished tradition, the Ramadan Cannon, will signal the end of the daily fast at sunset throughout Ramadan.

Children can look forward to engaging entertainment at the Kids' Theatre, where an Arabic puppet show and a special Ramadan version of the Kaleidoscope Show will enchant young audiences from Friday to Sunday.
