Four Seasons At The Pearl-Qatar Unveils Art Collaboration With Clym Evernden
The Four Seasons Resort and Residences at The Pearl-Qatar, a luxurious beachfront oasis in the Pearl-Qatar, has unveiled an exclusive collaboration with renowned artist Clym Evernden. This partnership marks Clym's first venture into the Middle East, introducing a series of unique illustrations and animations that beautifully capture the essence of the property.
In an effort to convey the vibrant atmosphere and luxurious living experience of the resort, Clym has produced four illustrations and four animations. These artistic creations showcase the property's key features, including its glamorous apartments that offer a home away from home, its status as a culinary destination that connects guests with local culture and Michelin-star cuisine, its pristine private beach, and its location on the upscale Pearl Island.
For these illustrations, Clym conducted thorough research on Doha and its districts, focusing on how the city's iconic skyline reflects off the water at different times. Inspired by the "light-hearted luxury" of the resort, he explored the unique vision and story of each area, from restaurants to apartments, infusing his work with a sense of elegance and imagination.
The animated videos are equally artistic, incorporating real objects from the resort like room key cards and restaurant menus to add depth and detail. Clym utilized stop-motion animation to creatively present these objects, a technique that adds a dynamic quality to the videos.
"Bringing my artistic views to the Middle East by collaborating with Four Seasons at The Pearl-Qatar is an exciting moment in my career," said Clym. He was deeply inspired by every corner of the property, which influenced his initial sketches and the concept of blending interior elegance with the external environment.
The property plans to celebrate the launch of these new artistic additions with an event that will include culinary activations and a master class for local artists in Qatar, led by Clym. Guests staying at the resort will have the opportunity to admire the illustrations at various points, immersing themselves in the artistic and design excellence of The Pearl-Qatar.
