FNDM Festival In Dubai To Showcase Makoto Tamura, Voice Of King From One Piece, In First Overseas Appearance
In an exciting development for pop culture enthusiasts, Dubai is set to host the inaugural FNDM festival, a vibrant celebration of anime, comics, cosplay, gaming, art, and music.
Scheduled for 4–5 October 2025 at The Concourse Convention Center in Dubai Outlet Mall, this event aims to foster a strong sense of community among fans.
With its creation, the team behind the Middle East Film & Comic Con (MEFCC) seeks to offer an immersive experience, building upon the legacy of their established convention.FNDM is designed specifically for "the fans who stay through the credits," providing a platform for the UAE's pop culture aficionados to engage with the MEFCC spirit more frequently.

The festival boasts over 80 exhibitors along with a lineup of live performances and entertainment options, making it a must-visit event for fans and families alike.
One of the most anticipated highlights of FNDM is the presence of Makoto Tamura, marking his first international appearance outside Japan. Tamura is celebrated for his roles as King in One Piece and the voice behind Marvel's Black Panther in Japanese. His participation offers fans an unparalleled opportunity to interact with a global anime and Marvel icon through autograph sessions and an exclusive panel discussion.
Adding to the festival's allure is a stellar assembly of comic book talent, including Dexter Soy, renowned for his contributions to Captain Marvel and Batman; UAE-based illustrator Jane Pica, known for her work on Disney's Lilo & Stitch; and Paolo Pantalena, celebrated for his art in Teen Titans and Red Hood/Arsenal. Ticket prices have been set at an attractive rate, with a Standard Saturday or Sunday Pass available for AED 65.
