Eurowings Expands Flight Services to Germany with New Routes and Premium BIZ Seating
Eurowings is set to enhance its flight services between the UAE and Germany by introducing new routes and a premium seating option aimed at providing affordable luxury.
With the launch of its Premium BIZ seat and additional flights to Germany in the upcoming 2025/26 winter schedule, the airline is broadening its appeal to travelers seeking both comfort and value.

This move not only signifies Eurowings' commitment to improving passenger experience but also marks its expansion in the Gulf region.
In November 2025, Eurowings will unveil the "Premium BIZ seat" on its Dubai-Berlin route, making it the first German airline to offer such a premium seating option on medium-haul flights in narrow-body aircraft.
This innovative seat, created by the Italian manufacturer Geven, will provide passengers with enhanced comfort features like increased legroom, adjustable backrests, and added privacy, typically found in long-haul travel arrangements.
Jens Bischof, CEO of Eurowings, highlighted the significance of these developments, stating, "Connections between the UAE and Germany remain among the most in-demand routes in our winter schedule, and the introduction of non-stop services to five German cities further strengthens our position in the region. At the same time, the launch of our new Premium Biz Seat on the Dubai–Berlin route brings an unmatched level of comfort and privacy to medium-haul travel – at an affordable price point. Together, these developments significantly enhance our customer offering and reaffirm Eurowings' position as Europe's leading value airline." This statement underscores the airline's efforts to meet the high demand for UAE-Germany connections while also introducing an affordable premium travel option.
The airline has also announced the introduction of new weekly connections from Dubai to Düsseldorf beginning December 13, 2025 and a new route from Abu Dhabi to Berlin starting on November 3, 2025.
These flights, operated by modern Airbus A320neo aircraft, will further connect the UAE with Germany, offering travelers more options for direct flights. The Dubai-Düsseldorf flights will operate three times weekly, while the Abu Dhabi-Berlin service will also run three times a week, providing convenient travel schedules for passengers.
Eurowings' competitive pricing strategy allows passengers to experience comfort and privacy without a hefty price tag. Economy Class fares from Dubai to Berlin begin at AED599, with options to upgrade to seats with extra legroom or to Biz Class for enhanced space and privacy, starting from AED1,400. The pinnacle of comfort, the Premium Biz Seat, is available from AED3,000, offering an unparalleled travel experience on the Dubai-Berlin route.
These new services and seating options are part of Eurowings' strategic efforts to solidify its presence in the Gulf region and provide valuable travel experiences to its customers. The airline now boasts over 31 weekly flights between the UAE and German cities like Cologne/Bonn, Düsseldorf, Berlin, Stuttgart, and Hanover, enhancing connectivity and options for travelers.
Looking to the future, Eurowings aims to use the insights gained from the Premium Biz Seat trial on the Dubai-Berlin route to inform the development of future cabin concepts. This initiative is in line with the airline's plans for a significant fleet renewal program, which will commence in 2027 with the introduction of 40 new Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft.
These enhancements are set to reinforce Eurowings' position as a leading value carrier for nonstop travel between the UAE and Germany, offering passengers innovative travel solutions that combine comfort, privacy, and affordability.
