Emirates Elevates In-Flight Luxury With New Sophisticated Fragrance Range

Emirates has introduced a new collaboration with the Irish brand VOYA, known for its organic luxury products. This partnership aims to enhance the flying experience for First and Business Class passengers by offering bespoke Eau de Toilette fragrances. These exclusive scents are now available on 400 flights daily.

The collaboration between Emirates and VOYA has resulted in unique fragrances inspired by global trends and natural essential oils from various destinations. The bottle design reflects the serene image of a sunset over the ocean, symbolising travel and sophistication. This partnership promises a sensory experience that blends nature with luxury.

VOYA founders, Mark and Kira Walton, have extensive experience in creating fragrances and were excited to develop these signature perfumes for Emirates. They aimed to combine elements from Ireland with iconic Middle Eastern scents. The male fragrance features bergamot, pepper, and white florals, offering a smooth and spicy aroma.

Mark Walton expressed his inspiration: "I have always loved the forest as much as the ocean, so I wanted to create a fresh and earthy fragrance. There is a lot of depth in this fragrance and the base notes become quite pronounced after the initial top notes subside."

The feminine perfume contrasts with delicate notes of honeysuckle, neroli, and citrus, creating an uplifting scent. Kira Walton shared her thoughts: "Honeysuckle is often found on coastal cliffs in Ireland – along with being a beautiful plant it's one synonymous with my childhood. It was important for me to pair this with fresh citrus notes like Orange, Basil and Vetiver, balanced with woody notes like Cedarwood and Gurjun Balsam."

The new fragrances are part of Emirates' existing suite of VOYA luxury spa products available in Business Class and First Class washrooms. These include shampoo, conditioner, body wash, cleanser, body moisturiser, hand wash, soap, and hand cream. The products are also featured in the A380 Onboard Shower Spa and Emirates' airport lounges.

Emirates offers three different VOYA fragrances for customers to choose from: revitalising rosemary and mint, tranquil lavender and rosemary, and soothing lime and mandarin. All skincare products are made from natural seaweed harvested from Co. Sligo's sea beds in Ireland.

VOYA products align with Emirates' commitment to responsible sourcing by using organic ingredients wherever possible. The packaging is recyclable, reflecting both brands' dedication to environmental sustainability. VOYA is also cruelty-free, opposing animal testing in cosmetic research.
