Africa's Largest Skatepark Soon Coming To This Egyptian Luxury Resort Town
El Gouna, the sustainable town developed by Orascom Development in Egypt, has partnered with Heazy Skate Park to create the largest skatepark in Africa. Supported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, this collaboration aims to establish a central hub for sports, culture, and arts events in El Gouna. Construction is expected to begin later this year, with the grand opening scheduled for 2025.
The agreement was signed in the presence of Essam Serageldin, Assistant Minister of Youth and Sports for Marketing and Commercial Affairs, Mohamed Amer, CEO of El Gouna, Abdel Aziz ElBanna, and Ahmed Burahmah, Founders of Heazy Skate Park, Mohamed Aboulfotouh, Chairman of Heazy Skate Park, Martim de Barros, Founder and Project Manager.

This partnership aligns with El Gouna's vision to become a premier destination for local and international sports events, catering to a diverse audience. The establishment of Heazy Skate Park in El Gouna represents a significant milestone in promoting the sport of skating in Africa. The park is expected to attract skating enthusiasts and professionals from the region and beyond, thereby supporting sports tourism in Egypt and fostering economic and social development.
