Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) 2024 is set to dazzle with a star-studded line-up of international musicians and comedians. This year's edition, curated by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), promises an array of live entertainment across the city. The DSS programme includes thousands of activities, ensuring there's something for everyone.

Tickets are now available for these highly anticipated events, which will take place at venues like Coca-Cola Arena, Dubai Opera, and Zabeel Theatre. As the city transforms into a cultural hub, audiences can expect thrilling performances that will leave them wanting more in the final weeks of DSS.

Musical Maestros

Adele's timeless hits will be celebrated at Raffles The Palm Dubai on 24 August as part of the Candlelight Concert series. "Candlelight: A Tribute to Adele" will feature performers from the String Quartet, who will bring her soulful voice and emotive lyrics to life in an intimate setting illuminated by thousands of candles.

On 29 August, Iranian pop sensation Reza Sadeghi will perform at Zabeel Theatre. Known for his passionate performances and timeless hits, Sadeghi's concert promises to be an unforgettable night of Persian pop music that will captivate audiences.

Bollywood fans can look forward to Shaan's performance at Coca-Cola Arena on 31 August. The playback singer will deliver a musical celebration filled with emotions, nostalgia, and non-stop dancing through his hit-packed performances featuring chartbusters that have defined a generation.

Filipino band Parokya Ni Edgar will take the stage at Coca-Cola Arena on 1 September. Known for their blend of rock novelties and satirical covers, the multi-award-winning group is often hailed as the 'National Band of the Philippines'. Their performance promises an evening of high-energy rock anthems and unforgettable cover songs spanning various genres.

Side-Splitting Comedy

The Laughter Factory is bringing top-notch comedians to venues across Dubai this weekend. John Fothergill, Nico Yearwood, and Miqdaad Dolawala will perform at Radisson Hotel Dubai DAMAC Hills on 23 August before wrapping up their tour on 24 August at Dukes The Palm and Vintage Grand Hotel. Fans can also join an after-party to mingle with the artists.

Zabeel Theatre will host Tom Alban's debut performance in Dubai on 31 August. Known for his storytelling style and infectious humour, Alban's show promises a night of riotous laughter.
