DSS 2024 Announces Its Extensive Lineup: Quick Style, Dana Salah And Many More Coming To Dubai

The Dubai Festival and Retail Establishment (DFRE) has announced its most extensive programme yet for the Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS), which will run from June 28 to September 1. Throughout the summer, shoppers can look forward to unbeatable deals, thrilling shows, and fantastic prizes.

DFRE CEO Ahmed Al Khaja stated, "This year's Dubai Summer Surprises features the biggest summer line-up launched to date. We've designed an exceptional DSS programme that features thousands of offers and things to do for everyone, promising a memorable summer."

Opening Weekend Celebrations

The DSS will commence with spectacular Opening Weekend Celebrations at select Dubai malls on June 28. Attendees can enjoy various artistic and entertainment shows featuring the "Quick Style" dance group, "Autostrad" performance group, singer-songwriter Dana Salah, and singer-songwriter Ali Gatie, among others.

On the same day, the DSS 12-Hour Sale will take place from 10 am to 10 pm, offering discounts of up to 90% off across more than 100 brands at select malls.

Modesh World's 25th Anniversary

This year, Modesh World celebrates its 25th anniversary as one of the region's largest indoor entertainment and amusement facilities. From new attractions to a jam-packed calendar of thrilling live shows, exhilarating rides, informative workshops, and so much more, there’s something to bring endless summer fun for everyone. Specially curated experiences, including impressive attractions spanning nearly 22,000 sqm, are themed around Modesh and Dana’s adventures throughout all seasons of the year.

Coinciding with the start of DSS, the first week of Modesh World will be full of extra excitement, with live family entertainment and giveaways.

Beat the Heat Concert

The DSS opening weekend will also witness the launch of Movie Magic at select cinemas across Dubai, where visitors can expect daily surprises and win instant prizes.

Returning for its third year, the Beat the Heat concert series will feature an epic line up of rising young Arab musicians, as well as fun game zones and dining experiences. Visitors can look out for talented performances from the likes of Siilawy, Marwan Moussa, Soulja, Abo El Anwar and Big Sam.
