Non-Stop Excitement: Dubai Shopping Festival Reveals 38 Days Of Entertainment

As Dubai gears up to mark a landmark moment of celebrating 30 years, the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) is set to dazzle residents and visitors alike with its 30th anniversary celebrations. From 6 December 2024 to 12 January 2025, the city will be abuzz with unparalleled excitement, showcasing an array of only-in-Dubai experiences, new attractions, and cherished festival favorites.

The festival, orchestrated by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), promises to offer an immersive and awe-inspiring program like never before, including the inaugural DSF Nights at Dubai Festival City Mall (DFCM).

Adding to the excitement, DSF Nights will bring a fusion of entertainment and shopping to DFCM for 38 days, featuring live performances by prominent Arabic artists, X Factor live shows, a unique retail pop-up by Samsung, enchanting family entertainment, novel IMAGINE shows, daily fireworks, innovative dining options, and thrilling DSF raffle draws. This blend of activities seeks to captivate people of all ages, uniting them in celebration.

Spectacular Concerts

Get ready for a spectacular music-filled celebration as Festival Bay at DFCM transforms into a vibrant stage for free-to-attend concerts every Saturday night throughout DSF. The air will be electric with the sound of some of the region’s most iconic Arab stars, bringing unforgettable performances that will have the crowd singing and dancing all night long. Visitors can reserve their spots through the Blue Rewards app.

The season will kick off in style with Egyptian sensation Ahmed Saad on 6 December, followed by the enchanting Shamma Hamdan on 7 December, the legendary Diana Haddad on 14 December, and the sensational Yara Mena on 21 December. The excitement continues with Hams Fikri who will light up the stage on 4 January 2025 and Ibrahim Al-Sultan who will wrap up the series on 11 January 2025. More incredible artists will be announced in the coming weeks, ensuring this musical celebration keeps the energy soaring throughout the season.

X Factor Live Shows

Get ready for an exhilarating experience as the world-famous X Factor live show takes over DFCM every Sunday from 8 December 2024 to 12 January 2025, from 10:30pm to 1am. This iconic singing competition, in partnership with Dubai TV as part of DSF, is renowned for its dazzling production, star-studded celebrity judges, and unforgettable performances. The show will feature three exciting categories, each guided by the expertise of celebrated judges Ragheb Alama, Rahma Riad, and Fayez AlSaeed. Under their mentorship, participants will light up the stage with show-stopping performances in their quest for stardom.

Retail Pop-Ups

One-of-a-kind retail pop-ups will bring even more excitement to DSF Nights. Among them will be an unmissable activation by Samsung, bringing a hub of innovation and entertainment from 10 to 30 December. Visitors will be able to experience the magic of the brand’s Sketch-to-Image AI feature live in action, strike a pose at a fun photobooth, explore a health and fitness eco zone, learn more about their S24 student programme, and enjoy captivating live shows.

DSF Raffles

Adding to the thrill, shoppers will have the unique chance to witness the electrifying atmosphere of DSF’s daily raffle draws from 8:30pm to 9pm that has captivated shoppers for three decades and made countless dreams come true. Winners will be announced before a live audience, promising unforgettable moments of excitement and celebration for all.

IMAGINE Shows

No celebration at Dubai Festival City Mall is complete without an electrifying showcase of the iconic IMAGINE show, with two new shows exclusively designed for DSF. Record-breaking water screens, dazzling lasers, and vibrant projections will be perfectly synchronised to the magical Ya Salam Ya Dubai at 6:30pm and the captivating Dubai Kawkab Akhir at 9:15pm twice everyday, before concluding with dazzling daily fireworks at 9:15pm.

Family Entertainment

DSF Nights will also transform into the perfect hub of family-friendly entertainment, featuring delightful activities and performances for all ages. Families will enjoy daily meet-and-greets with the city’s favourite characters Modesh and Dana, coupled with spectacular nightly fireworks and exceptional culinary treats that cater to every member of the family. The enchanting celebration will promise to deliver joyful moments and memorable experiences for one and all.

Trendy Food Pop-Ups

DSF Nights will also host some of the city’s trendiest food brands, from pop-up restaurants to food trucks. Shoppers will find an unforgettable spread - whether it is unforgettable sunsets at Helipad by Frozen Cherry, or the Sayf Dubai seasonal outdoor venue where a vibrant, neon-illuminated world awaits guests with spectacular performances from regional performers.
