UAE National Day: Dubai Has Reserved These 4 Beaches For Families Only
Get a chance to relax in peace this long weekend. In a move to embrace the UAE National Day celebrations, the Dubai Municipality has announced an exclusive reservation of four of its popular public beaches for family gatherings only.
This arrangement will last through the extended holiday period, starting from November 30 (Saturday) to December 3 (Tuesday), ensuring that families can enjoy the picturesque Dubai coastline in a more organized and comfortable setting. This initiative is a part of the celebrations for Eid Al Etihad, a holiday that marks the UAE National Day, observed with much fanfare across the nation.
The beaches earmarked for this family-exclusive initiative include:
1. Jumeirah Beach 2
2. Jumeirah 3
3. Umm Suqeim 1
4. Umm Suqeim 2.
This decision is in line with the festive mood of Eid Al Etihad, providing a serene and secure environment for families to bask in the celebrations.
Ibrahim Mohammad Juma, the director of the Public Beaches and Waterways Department, underscored the importance of this measure. He stated, "This measure ensures an organized flow of visitors while prioritizing families' comfort during the holiday rush," highlighting the initiative's aim to enhance the beach-going experience during the UAE National Day celebrations.
To ensure the safety and well-being of visitors, the Dubai Municipality has put together a comprehensive safety and rescue operation. A team consisting of 135 dedicated safety and rescue personnel will be on duty, supported by an additional 60-member field supervisory team. In collaboration with strategic partners, Dubai Municipality will closely monitor all beach operations to enhance the comfort and well-being of families.
