Ramadan 2024 In Dubai: Where To Go To Catch Spectacular Fireworks And Light Shows?

Dubai is set to sparkle with a series of enthralling light shows, spectacular fireworks displays, Ramadan-themed music performances, and delightful surprises throughout the holy month of Ramadan. This comes as part of the #RamadanInDubai campaign, initiated by the Dubai Festivals & Retail Establishment (DFRE).

The citywide festivities are designed to immerse residents and visitors in the joy and magic of the season, ensuring celebrations reach every corner of the city up until Eid.

Brilliant Firework Shows

Every weekend during Ramadan, the city will burst into life with vibrant displays of light. Enchanting fireworks, presented by Al Zarooni Group, will light up the skies at 10pm on March 15-17 and March 29-31 at Bluewaters and The Beach, JBR. Additional displays are scheduled for March 22-24 at Al Seef and on April 5-7 at Dubai Festival City Mall, adding to the festive atmosphere.

Savouring Delights at the Food Markets

Dubai's renowned dining scene is set to elevate the Holy Month, offering endless options for indulging in authentic flavours and spending quality time together. From food trucks at Ramadan markets to lavish buffets at five-star venues, the city offers a plethora of dining experiences. Traditional iftar and suhoor options are available across various hotels, restaurants, and Ramadan tents, catering to every palate and budget.

Global Village invites guests to savour flavours from around the world amid a festive atmosphere, while the Ramadan Garden by Winter Garden, set against the backdrop of Al Habtoor Palace, offers a magical setting for gatherings. Al Khawaneej Majlis's THE HUB market and Expo City Dubai provide a mix of food stalls and lively entertainment. Iconic dining destinations like the al fresco majlis at Jumeirah Emirates Towers and Mina's Kitchen at the Westin Mina Seyani are inviting guests for memorable iftar experiences, complete with live stations, Henna painting, and live musicians.

Roaming Performances and Unified Celebrations

Roaming performances by musicians and performers will enhance the festive mood at Global Village, Expo City Dubai, and various malls around the city. Characters Modesh and Dana will make appearances, helping shoppers embrace the spirit of the season.

The #RamadanInDubai campaign, launched by the Dubai Media Council under the directives of Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, aims to bring the public and private sectors together for a unified celebration of the holy month. Overseen by Brand Dubai, the campaign seeks to share the rich cultural heritage and traditions integral to Ramadan celebrations.

This initiative is designed to create a unique ambiance across the city that captures the essence of Ramadan, reflecting authentic Emirati customs and traditions. It ensures that the holy month is marked by a blend of spiritual reflection and communal joy, making the occasion truly special for both residents and visitors alike.
