Dubai Police Lauds Uber Driver For Returning Lost Item

Dubai Police's General Department of Criminal Investigation in Dubai has honoured Uber taxi driver Sultan Iskandar Mohammed for returning a valuable item to the Tourist Police Department.

Brigadier Hareb Mohammed Al Shamsi, Director of the General Department of Criminal Investigations, praised Mohammed's honesty and said that his actions exemplified the noble values held by the community.

Brig. Al Shamsi emphasised that the Dubai Police is dedicated to honouring individuals who display trustworthiness and commitment to returning found items. This helps reunite lost property with its rightful owners and promotes a positive image of security and safety within UAE society.

Al Shamsi urged community members to view Sultan Iskandar Mohammed as an example of honesty and trustworthiness. He also highlighted the availability of the smart 'Lost and Found' service at smart police stations (SPS) on beaches, encouraging people to use this service to return any found items.

Sultan Mohammed expressed his gratitude to the Dubai Police for recognising his actions, stating that it fills him with pride and joy. He believes it inspires others to prioritise honesty and return lost belongings to their owners.

The ceremony was attended by Lt. Col. Mohammed Abdulrahman, Acting Deputy Director of the Tourism Police Department, and Captain Shehab Al Saadi, Head of the Tourist Happiness Section.
