Unfenced Family Park Unveiled In Dubai With Distinctive Rural-Inspired Design

In a significant move to enrich the urban landscape, Dubai Municipality has revealed a new family park in the Al Aweer II area, stretching over 10,500 square meters. This park stands out for its unique rural-inspired aesthetics and commitment to providing open, green spaces combined with top-notch recreational and service facilities.

This project aligns with Dubai Municipality's broader ambitions to upgrade and expand public and family-friendly areas across the city, aiming to elevate the living standards and happiness of its residents. Bader Anwahi, CEO of the Public Facilities Agency at Dubai Municipality, stated, "The development of public parks, recreational facilities, and family spaces is a cornerstone of Dubai Municipality's ongoing projects." He emphasized the goal of delivering first-rate infrastructure and leisure facilities that improve the quality of life for all Dubai inhabitants.

Anwahi further highlighted, "Through these projects, we seek to make Dubai a more attractive and sustainable city by enhancing its aesthetic and cultural landscapes, fostering vibrant communities, and encouraging active lifestyles."

At the heart of its design, the park celebrates the natural and rural characteristics of the Al Aweer II region. It incorporates local flora such as Ghaf, Al Shuraish, and Plumeria, enhancing the park's natural beauty and connecting visitors with the emirate's ecological heritage. The facilities within the park, including areas for children to play, jogging tracks, and fitness equipment, are strategically placed to offer both recreational benefits and a serene escape for families living in the vicinity.

Anwahi further elaborated on the broader impacts of such developments, stating, "Additionally, these developments strengthen social bonds among families and community members while creating new investment opportunities for local citizens to showcase their homegrown ventures."
