Experience Dubai's New Food Challenge: Sample Global Cuisines And Win Exclusive Merchandise

Dubai has a new food challenge pitting residents and tourists against some of the region’s biggest, spiciest dishes. This venture is a collaboration between Pepsi and Global Village, Dubai's leading destination for multicultural entertainment, shopping, and dining, showcasing over 250 food outlets and 30 pavilions representing 90 global cultures.

As part of the global #BetterWithPepsi campaign, which highlights the brand as the ideal complement to any meal, Dubai's event will run until April 14. Challengers can obtain a Pepsi Fizz Guide to collect stamps for each dish they try from around the world. The first three individuals to complete their guide will receive a cash prize. Additionally, participants can win exclusive Pepsi merchandise by sampling a dish from each represented cuisine.

Mohamed Shelbaya, SVP & CEO of PepsiCo Middle East & North Africa Beverage, emphasized Dubai's rich cultural diversity, stating, "Dubai is one of the most culturally diverse cities in the world, and through this experience, we are inviting people to discover cultures and cuisines from every corner of the world, made even better with Pepsi." This initiative, in collaboration with Global Village, provides an array of family-friendly activities and games for participants to explore.

Ahmed Al-Serkal, Chairman of Dubai Refreshment Company, PJSC, also shared his excitement about the initiative, especially during Ramadan, a time known for community and togetherness. He highlighted the joy of bringing families and friends together through food, fun, and friendly competition, thanks to the partnership between Dubai Refreshment, Pepsi, and Global Village.

To participate, challengers must visit the Pepsi booth centrally located in Global Village, near the Main Stage and Dragon Lake. Here, they can scan their Pepsi bottle to activate their Pep Pass and embark on the food challenge. The adventure allows participants to discover a myriad of exceptional dining options, from spicy dishes and koshary to delightful desserts, all while collecting stamps for their guide.

In addition to the food challenge, guests can enjoy their meals in comfortable seating areas and immerse themselves in the vibrant atmosphere of Global Village. Participants are encouraged to recycle their Pepsi bottles for a chance to win various prizes, including free gifts, customized merchandise, or a Pepsi Zero Extra Fizz.
