Part of the prestigious World Skateboarding Tour, the Dubai leg will serve as the final opportunity for skaters to qualify for the Olympics, determining who will advance to the 2024 Paris Games later this summer.

Hosted by World Skate in collaboration with Arada and venue partner Shamal Holding, the event is supported by the Dubai Sports Council and the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET). With over 500 professional skaters expected to participate, the competition will feature both Park and Street events. The schedule includes practice sessions, qualifiers, and knockout stages for both categories.

The Middle East’s professional skating event will stage the Park Pro Tour Stop (February 25-March 3) followed by the Street Pro Tour Stop (March 3-10) at the purpose-built Championship Class Street and Park arenas within Dubai Harbour, just next to the world-famous Palm Jumeirah.

The Park competition will kick off with practice sessions for both men and women on Sunday February 25, followed by qualifiers for both men and women on Thursday February 28 and Friday February 29. The quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals for both categories will be held from March 1 to 3. On the final day of the Park competition, practices will begin for the Street contest. Qualifiers will be held on Wednesday March 6 and Thursday March 7, and the knockout stages from Friday March 8 to Sunday March 10.

As Dubai continues to establish itself as a global sports destination, hosting events like the World Skateboarding Tour enhances its reputation and contributes to sports tourism. The competition's international appeal is expected to attract participants and spectators from around the world, reinforcing Dubai's position as a premier city for business, entertainment, and sporting excellence.
