Dubai is set to host the exciting Esports & Games Festival (DEF 2024), organized by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE). The festival, running from 19 April to 5 May, promises to be the biggest celebration of gaming and esports yet, with a packed calendar of events across the city.
The GameExpo, taking place from 3 to 5 May at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), is a highlight of the festival. This immersive event offers visitors of all ages the chance to experience the latest games, watch thrilling tournaments, and immerse themselves in non-stop gaming action. Fans can also get up close with leading gaming influencers and win cool new gear. The GameExpo promises to be an unforgettable experience for gaming enthusiasts.

The Narrows, part of the GameExpo, will showcase gaming pop culture. It will bring together up-and-coming and experienced Middle East artists to present their recent works across various media. Visitors can expect a range of gaming-inspired art, interactive exhibits, and opportunities to connect with artists and fellow fans.
The Family Zone is another exciting addition to this year's festival. Families can come together and enjoy gaming match-ups, creating lasting memories and bonding over shared experiences. Families can book a day ticket from Dh119 or a three-day pass from Dh299. Limited VIP tickets are available for enhanced access to the Play Beyond Influencer Meet and Greet, priority seating, and a food and beverage voucher. Kids below 5 years of age can enter for free.
The GameExpo Summit, taking place on 1 and 2 May, brings together industry professionals and brands from around the world.
