This district, encompassing Dubai, the Northern Emirates, and Lebanon, has been celebrated as the top district globally. This recognition was part of the festivities at Toastmasters International's centennial anniversary convention in California.
In a significant achievement for the region, DTM Sujit Sukumaran, a Dubai-based entrepreneur and academic, has been elected to serve on the Toastmasters International Board of Directors for the term spanning 2024–2026. Bringing nearly two decades of experience within the Toastmasters community, Sukumaran's election marks a pivotal moment for leadership within the organization.
