DreamWorks Animation To Launch DreamPlay In Riyadh: A New Hub For Immersive Family Entertainment In 2026

DreamWorks Animation and Universal Live Entertainment have teamed up with Alshaya Group to introduce DreamPlay to the Middle East for the first time.

This interactive play and creativity center, renowned for bringing beloved animated characters to life, is set to open its doors in The Avenues – Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in the last quarter of 2026. The center promises an immersive family entertainment experience, blending play with creativity through a variety of activities inspired by popular DreamWorks Animation franchises such as Kung Fu Panda, Shrek, Madagascar, and How to Train Your Dragon.
