Bab Samhan: An Exceptional Luxury Hotel Opens In Saudi Arabia

The recent inauguration of Bab Samhan, a Luxury Collection Hotel by Marriott International, in Diriyah, marks a significant addition to the hospitality landscape on the fringes of Riyadh, the Saudi capital.

This hotel, the first of its kind in the historic area developed by Diriyah Company, signals the beginning of a major expansion, with plans for over 40 additional hotels. Bab Samhan is not only the latest but also one of the most significant landmarks in Diriyah, joining other key developments such as At-Turaif and Bujairi Terrace.

Nestled near At-Turaif, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the Bujairi Terrace dining precinct, Bab Samhan is strategically placed to offer guests both luxury and cultural enrichment. The hotel, boasting 134 rooms and 23 suites, embodies Najdi architectural traditions and offers an array of amenities including a luxury spa, an indoor pool, and a fitness center. For dining, guests can choose between a signature restaurant featuring Nadji cuisine and another offering Mediterranean dishes created by Michelin-starred chef Michael Mina.
