Danube Group Opens New Mosque In Dubai Studio City
In a heartwarming tribute to his parents, Rizwan Sajan, Founder and Chairman of Danube Group, inaugurated the Danube Mosque recently. This modern architectural marvel is named after Sajan's late father, Askerali Sajan, and was inaugurated by his mother, Gulbanu Askerali Sajan.
The mosque, situated in Al Hebiah Second near Glitz by the Danube in Dubai Studio City, stands as a testament to filial piety and community service. "This mosque is a small effort to reward our beloved father and mother," Sajan remarked, highlighting the guiding and supportive role his parents played in their lives. He also expressed his hope that attendees would remember his parents in their prayers.

The opening of the mosque coincided with the 27th day of Ramadan, considered one of the holy month's most auspicious days. It was a moment of pride and joy for the Sajan family, as the mosque was completed on schedule, allowing for the Taraweeh prayers and other religious activities to commence during this sacred time.
The Danube Mosque for Askerali Sajan, sprawling over 3,445 square meters, has the capacity to accommodate over 750 worshippers, including both men and women. This new place of worship offers a spiritual haven for thousands of residents in the rapidly growing Dubai Studio City and neighboring areas. Additionally, the mosque features parking space for around 50 vehicles, catering to the convenience of the worshippers.
Prestige Construction LLC, a firm with a solid track record of completing various infrastructure projects in the UAE, was entrusted with the construction of the mosque. Sajan expressed his satisfaction with the timely delivery of the mosque, which was in line with their desire to open it during Ramadan.
Beyond the construction of the mosque, the Danube Group has shown a strong commitment to charitable endeavors. Notably, the group announced a generous contribution of Dh10 million to the Mothers' Endowment Campaign earlier in March. Furthermore, the group has supported the '1 Billion Meals Endowment' fund in 2023, along with other initiatives under the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI), showcasing their dedication to giving back to the community.
