DAMAC Opens New Cairo Sales Office To Strengthen Ties With Egyptian Real Estate Investors

DAMAC marked the inauguration of its new sales office in Egypt and the launch of its new master development, DAMAC Islands 2, at Cairo’s magnificent Grand Egyptian Museum, an architectural and cultural marvel overlooking the Pyramids of Giza. The glittering evening set against the backdrop of ancient history was hosted by Amira Sajwani, Managing Director of DAMAC Properties, and attended by dignitaries and global investors.

Egypt is a key growth market for DAMAC due to its strong economic fundamentals and affinity for real estate investment. Egyptians rank among the top ten nationalities investing in DAMAC properties. To strengthen ties with this market, DAMAC has opened a dedicated sales office in Egypt. This move aims to enhance connections between Cairo and Dubai, two major real estate hubs in the MENA region.

The evening featured legendary Egyptian musician Omar Khairat, who entertained guests with a blend of classical, jazz, and traditional Arabic music. Hadi Awada also delivered an exciting choreographed performance. Guests were given an exclusive preview of DAMAC Islands 2, inspired by eight tropical island destinations. This follows the success of DAMAC Islands 1 in 2024.

The Dubai real estate market remains highly active and attractive to investors and residents. In H1 2025, transactions increased by 40% year-on-year. DAMAC communities continue to lead market performance with significant sales figures. For instance, DAMAC Islands recorded 4,185 villa and townhouse sales in H1 2025.

DAMAC Islands 2 offers a tropical paradise within Dubai, featuring lush landscapes and crystal lagoons inspired by dream destinations like Antigua and Bermuda. The project includes six-bedroom luxury villas and various townhouses with prices starting at AED 2.7 million.

Amira Sajwani highlighted that Egyptians are among the top buyers of DAMAC homes. She stated: "We have witnessed double-digit sales growth in this market and expect it to rise another 20% in 2026." The opening of the Cairo office is expected to bring DAMAC closer to its clients.

DAMAC's developments have shown strong price growth since their launch. For example, prices for townhouses at DAMAC Hills 1 rose by 86%, while villas increased by 72%. This demonstrates sustained investor confidence in the brand's long-term value.

As part of the launch campaign for DAMAC Islands 2, a global competition was announced to find 'The Ultimate Islander’. The winner will receive an all-expenses-paid trip and become an employee of DAMAC while living on one of their islands.
