BOTIM’s Onamamangam Celebrations in Sharjah Culminate on Sept 7

The Onamamangam 2025 festivities, powered by BOTIM, have captivated audiences across the UAE, starting with a record-breaking turnout of 76,000 visitors at the Madinat Zayed Shopping Center in Abu Dhabi.

On August 30, at Lulu Muweilah, attendees will be treated to a variety of cultural activities including Thiruvathira, Cinematic Dance, a Payasam Cooking Contest, and Vadamvali (Tug of War).

The festivities will carry on to the following day, August 31, at the Sharjah Central Mall in Samnan, offering competitions in Pookalam (floral carpet design), Mr. Malayali, Malayali Manka, Kids Painting, Kids Fancy Dress, and Payasam Cooking.

A notable event will be the Vatika Malayali Manka Competition, where 12 contestants vie for the title, embodying Kerala's beauty, tradition, and elegance, with the winner receiving 5 grams of gold along with various gift hampers.

The culmination of the Onam celebrations will be on September 7 at the Sharjah Expo Center, featuring Malayalam superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran as the chief guest.

The evening is set to dazzle with performances by Stephen Devassy & Band, Haricharan, Job Kurian, Anju Joseph, and Praseetha Chalakudy.

Social media influencers such as Hanan Shah, rapper Thirumali, and Thudwiser will also participate, alongside HIT FM RJs, adding to the dynamic atmosphere.
