Asha’s Restaurants Honour Vision and Legacy of Asha Bhosle

The team behind Asha’s restaurants in the UAE and wider Gulf has announced the death of Indian singer Asha Bhosle, describing the loss as “profound” and honouring her role as the creative force and inspiration behind the brand that carries her name.

The statement said that while Asha Bhosle was known globally as “a voice that defined generations,” to the Asha’s family “she was everything and she always will be.” It added that her presence will continue to guide the group’s identity and operations each day.

Asha Bhosle Tribute Shapes Ashas Brand

Asha Bhosle was described as the heart, spirit, and foundation of Asha’s. Her enthusiasm for food, instinct for flavour, and strong sense of hospitality were credited with shaping the brand’s ethos, from menu development to the guest experience in every restaurant.

The tribute highlighted her belief in “warmth that could be felt without words,” food “that stays with you,” and in “making people feel like they belong.” These principles were presented as core values that define Asha’s and continue to influence its service style and atmosphere.

According to the statement, Asha’s has operated in the UAE for more than two decades as a homegrown brand inspired by her vision. From its base in the Emirates, the restaurant group has expanded within the GCC to Kuwait, Bahrain, and Qatar, and internationally to Birmingham, UK.

The brand noted that Asha Bhosle’s musical legacy “will continue to live on across the world,” while her presence within Asha’s is regarded not as something lost but as an enduring influence carried “every single day” by the team across all its locations.

Asha’s said it grieves her passing “with heavy hearts,” extending condolences to her family, loved ones, “the millions who grew up with her voice,” and those who discovered her through the “warmth and flavours of Asha’s,” stressing that within the brand “her presence stays with us always.”
