Arada Awards Dh615 Million In Contracts For Fourth Phase Of Sharjah's Masaar Megaproject
Arada has recently made a significant stride in the development of its Masaar megaproject by awarding two contracts worth Dh615 million for the construction of all 565 homes in Azalea, the project's fourth phase. Masaar, a Dh9.5 billion venture located in the Suyoh district of Sharjah, is set to feature 3,000 villas and townhouses across six phases. A defining feature of Masaar is its commitment to a nature-inspired lifestyle, highlighted by a 'green spine' consisting of 70,000 trees.
With an immediate start date, construction on Azalea is expected to be completed by the end of 2025. This update is a noteworthy milestone for Masaar, signalling that over 1,500 homes across its second, third, and fourth phases are now under construction. This follows the successful completion of 430 homes in the first phase by the end of 2023. Arada plans to award contracts for the remaining two phases in the second quarter, aiming for the entire project's completion by the end of 2026.

Group CEO of Arada, Ahmed Alkhoshaibi, shared insights into the positive reception from Masaar's first residents, stating, "The feedback we have received has been exceptional, underlining our commitment to setting a new standard of living for the UAE." Launched in 2021, Masaar has quickly become one of the country's most successful off-plan projects, noted for its strong capital appreciation over the last three years.
Contract Awards and Construction Partners
The contracts for Azalea's construction have been divided between Saleh Construction LLC, responsible for building 324 homes, and Yanal Building Contracting Company, tasked with constructing 241 homes. This split underscores Arada's strategy to efficiently manage the project's scale and complexity.
Masaar's Family-Oriented Amenities
Masaar is not just about homes but also about creating a vibrant community. Among the completed features are the Masaar Discovery Center and various family attractions such as a children's adventure playground, water play area, skate park, and the Zad food truck park. Additionally, Masaar Track, a 6.6-kilometer forested cycleway, is currently attracting thousands of cyclists monthly. The Loop complements this offering with bike rental and repair services alongside a café.
Strategic Location and Accessibility
Located in the promising Suyoh district, Masaar benefits from its proximity to Tilal City, the Sharjah Mosque, and Arada's inaugural project, Nasma Residences. Its strategic position ensures easy access to major roads such as Emirates Road and Mleiha Road. Moreover, Masaar is conveniently situated 15 minutes' drive from Sharjah International Airport and 20 minutes from Dubai International Airport, making it an attractive option for both local and international residents.
