Arada Awards Dh1.48 Billion Contracts For Final Phases Of Sharjah’s Masaar Megaproject

In a significant development for Sharjah's real estate sector, Arada has announced the awarding of two major contracts totaling Dh1.48 billion for the construction of the final phases of its Dh9.5 billion Masaar megaproject. Situated in the Suyoh district, this initiative stands as a testament to the region's growing appeal as a residential hub.

The contract for Sequoia, valued at Dh650 million, aims to construct 428 homes and has been secured by Pivot Engineering & General Contracting, an Abu Dhabi-based company with prior involvement in Masaar's second phase, Kaya. Similarly, the Saro phase, encompassing 597 units and valued at Dh830 million, will be undertaken by Intermass, a Sharjah-based contractor with previous contributions to Masaar's development.

Final Phases of Sharjah Masaar Project Funded

Ahmed Alkhoshaibi, Group CEO of Arada, expressed enthusiasm about the timely progression of these contracts, highlighting the commitment to delivering the Masaar community with unparalleled quality. He remarked on the distinctive, nature-inspired lifestyle Masaar offers, underscoring its potential to enrich residents' lives significantly.

With construction set to commence immediately, the completion of homes in Sequoia and Saro is anticipated by summer 2026. This move will bring the total number of homes under construction at Masaar to 2,570, following the completed first phase at the end of 2023. The project's second and third phases, Kaya and Robinia, are also nearing completion, further advancing the development of this woodland community.

Masaar is distinguished by its extensive greenery, featuring a central 'green spine’ adorned with 70,000 trees that connect the community's six gated districts. Among the already completed amenities are the Masaar Discovery Center, various family attractions, and Masaar Track—a 6.6-kilometre forested cycleway. The community enjoys strategic proximity to key locations, including Tilal City and Sharjah International Airport, enhancing its accessibility and appeal.

The full completion of the Masaar project is slated for 2026, ultimately offering 3,000 villas and townhouses. This development is not only set to elevate the standard of living in Sharjah but also contribute significantly to the emirate's real estate landscape.
