Arabian Travel Market 2024 To Kick Off In Dubai With Record Participation
The Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2024 is set to make a grand return to the Dubai World Trade Centre, drawing attention from the global travel and tourism industry to its 31st edition. Scheduled from May 6-9, the event anticipates over 41,000 attendees and will showcase 2,300 exhibitors from 165 countries, indicating a significant gathering for the sector. This year's ATM emphasizes 'Empowering Innovation – Transforming Travel through Entrepreneurship', highlighting the critical influence of start-ups and entrepreneurs on the industry's evolution.
With a comprehensive four-day conference program, ATM 2024 is preparing to host more than 50 sessions with over 200 esteemed speakers. These sessions will unfold across the Global Stage and the newly introduced Future Stage. A key highlight includes the Global Stage Welcome keynote by H.E Issam Abdulrahim Kazim, CEO – Dubai Corporation for Tourism and Commerce Marketing, focusing on Dubai's tourism ambitions. Furthermore, a Ministerial Debate will engage GCC Ministers in discussions on fostering regional tourism development.

The Market Insights Summit, a significant part of the opening day, will delve into the rising tourism prospects within China, India, and Latin America. Esteemed panelists such as Basmah Al-Mayman from UN Tourism and Guy Hutchinson from Hilton will share their insights. Additionally, the Future Stage will explore hospitality trends with contributions from leaders at IHG Hotels and Resorts, Marriott International, and others, while addressing global economic disruptions and the burgeoning sector of island tourism.
Danielle Curtis, Exhibition Director ME, Arabian Travel Market, expressed enthusiasm about the remarkable 26% increase in exhibitor participation from the previous year, underscoring ATM's position as a pivotal event for the industry. This growth spans all show verticals, with notable increases from the Middle East, Asia, Europe, and Africa. The event will also feature a significantly expanded Travel Tech section, showcasing the newest technological innovations to a global audience.
Continuing its commitment to sustainability, ATM 2024 follows up on the previous year's theme with its 30 long-term sustainability goals. The Sustainability Summit on May 9 will address ESG considerations in travel and tourism, alongside the Sustainable Stand Award, honoring exhibitors dedicated to reducing their carbon footprint. This year's strategic partners include the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, Emirates, IHG Hotels & Resorts, and Al Rais Travel, ensuring a collaborative and successful event.
