Ajman Department Of Tourism, Culture And Media Announces New Official Name

The Ajman Department of Tourism Development has rebranded itself as the "Ajman Department of Tourism, Culture and Media". This change aligns with the emirate's leadership vision to integrate tourism, culture, and media.

The merger of the Ajman Department of Tourism Development and the Ajman Culture and Media Department into one entity highlights the government's commitment to a unified framework supporting sustainable development.

Ajman Department Unveils New Official Name

Under Law No. 2 of 2025, issued by H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, this new structure was established. It follows directives from H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi to merge these departments for enhanced coordination and efficiency. The aim is to support strategic objectives through integration across these sectors.

Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the department, stated that the new name represents an ambitious vision for integrating tourism, culture, and media sectors. He emphasised a commitment to developing a government model based on innovation and sustainability. This approach aims to create a more efficient and flexible system.

Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi, Director-General of the department, remarked that the new identity reflects their mission to position Ajman as a dynamic hub combining authenticity with innovation. He noted that their unified team works towards transforming leadership visions into impactful initiatives that drive growth and reinforce the economy.
