Espajlita M Triumphs With Gold In Junior Fillies At Emirates Arabian Horse Cup

The 9th Show of the Emirates Arabian Horse Global Cup for the 2024 season took place in the Czech Republic yesterday (Friday). This event, held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan and with the follow-up of Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad Al Nahyan, featured 55 horses from 31 owners across the Czech Republic and other EU countries.

EAHS Director General Mohamed Al Harbi attended the event and crowned the winners. The golden medal in the Senior Stallions Championship was awarded to Paris for Polia Arabians. Petrus PA won the silver medal for PPH Parys, while Nico De Napoli secured the bronze medal for Sarka Nemeckova.

In the Junior Fillies Championship, Espajlita M clinched the golden medal for owner Piotr Podgorny. Kataryna AO received the silver medal for Adam Ochman, and Psyche Roksana earned bronze for Stadnina Koni Chrcynno.

The Junior Colts Championship saw Monarchio, owned by Bogdan Maslanka, win gold after a tough competition. KA Messi took silver for Pavel Kanka, while Jamaal AQ placed third with a bronze medal for Eliska Bernardova.

The Senior Mares Championship was another highlight. Binduga won gold for Suweco CZ and Nina Suskevicova. Persia Touch SW brought home silver for the same owner, and Parisana PA received bronze for PPH Parys.

Event Significance and Future Plans

This championship is part of the Emirates Arabian Horse Global Cup's first edition. It is the 9th and penultimate show before concluding next month in Damascus on 20th-21st September. The EAHGC includes ten championships held globally in coordination with local authorities.

The competition is fierce as it marks the third leg of EAHGC in Europe after shows in France and Denmark. It coincides with the Prague Intercup – International Arabian Horse Show 2024.

Each round offers valuable cash prizes to the top five winners. The EAHGC spans multiple regions including Europe, Africa, Australia, South America, North America, and the Middle East.
