Abu Dhabi International Hunting And Equestrian Exhibition Showcases Emirati And Global Cultures
The Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) is a celebration of both Emirati and global cultures. With 68 countries participating, the event offers a diverse range of activities for attendees. Organised by ADNEC Group in collaboration with the Emirates Falconers’ Club, ADIHEX 2025 showcases traditional practices like falconry, camel racing, Saluki hunting, and horse riding through immersive zones and live displays.
Aligned with the theme "The Legacy Lives On," ADIHEX 2025 aims to inspire and educate audiences about the UAE's heritage. Each event highlights the historical significance of these traditions in Emirati culture. The Emirates Centre for Strategic Studies and Research (ECSSR), as the Knowledge Partner, provides sessions on how hunting and equestrianism have shaped Emirati identity.

ADIHEX features significant international participation, including 63 exhibitors from Japan. The INDEX stand highlights Japanese culture with falconry shows, equipment making, tea ceremonies, and musical performances. At the INPEX stand, Shinsuke Ohwaku demonstrates crafting the Japanese Katana sword. Additionally, Takahiro Mizuki leads Amezaiku demonstrations, showcasing candy sculpting into animal shapes.
African countries also present unique experiences at the exhibition. South Africa is represented by 34 brands offering safari adventures featuring the Big Five: lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and Cape buffalo. Botswana's Lotsane Signature Collection showcases luxury lodge experiences in pristine wilderness areas with wildlife viewing and historical excursions.
The Hamdan bin Mohammed Heritage Centre offers interactive activities celebrating falconry, hunting, and Salukis within the Preservation of Culture sector. The National Academy for Childhood Development hosts workshops promoting childhood development and cultural pride. Meanwhile, the Abu Dhabi Sports Council engages visitors with archery, fencing, polo, marine sports, and traditional handicrafts displays.
The Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority provides an immersive platform for families featuring interactive learning platforms and traditional clothing displays. Visitors can enjoy a virtual tour of the Al Dhafra festival or engage with the Million’s Poet Programme to experience a traditional Emirati Majlis atmosphere.
